RIS3_Net

RIS3_Net aims to foster interregional cooperation for the smart growth of the regions of the MAC Space. Funded under Axis 5 – to improve the institutional capacity and efficiency of public administration, RIS3_Net intends to improve this capacity by promoting cross-border cooperation and between the citizens and the institutions involved.

Following the guidelines defined by the European Commission, RIS3_Net contributes to greater efficiency in the implementation of the Research and Innovation Strategies for Intelligent Specialization (RIS3) of the Regions of the MAC Space. To this end, it will develop an institutional cooperation strategy, designing a common governance system, aimed at the institutions responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the RIS3 of the Macaronesian regions (Azores, Madeira, and Canaries), taking into account the potential for expansion to third countries.
