Objective

  1. To identify and map High Nature Value farmlands (HNVfs) in the Azorean Islands;
  2. To characterize and compare traditional (intensive managed pastures) and biological pastures (organic pastures) in terms of taxonomic and functional diversity and Ecosystem Services (ESs);
  3. To characterize and compare different types of pasture edges (ornamental exotic plants or native trees) in terms of taxonomic composition, diversity indexes, and ESs.
