Aim of the Project:

Marine Biotech – Funded under the FP7 ERA-NET scheme, ERA-MarineBiotech is a consortium of national funding bodies seeking complementarities between national activities to pool resources to undertake joint funding of transnational projects in the area of Marine Biotechnology.

FRCT joined the 3rd call for projects launched in 2016, under the topic “Metagenomic approaches for valorization from the marine environment” and finances one regional team from the University of the Azores in the project META-MINE. Status: ongoing.
